Paper Folders
Paper folders or paper folding equipment are a must-have for companies or institutions that folds and mails invoices, statements, correspondences, flyers, brochures and pamphlets. A paper folder can produce a variety of different folds to accommodate multiple needs. Paper folders come in two categories - Friction Feed and Air Feed.
Friction Feed Paper Folders - a spinning, rubber-coated roller is used to grip a sheet of paper that is to be fed into the paper folder. Powered only by an electrical motor, friction-fed paper folders tend to be somewhat quieter than air-fed folders. Paper folding equipment of this type is perfect for any job, long or short run, in a variety of institutions like churches, schools, small offices, home offices, in-plant print or copy facilities, copy shops, for personal use, for desktop publishers & more.
Air Feed/Suction Feed Paper Folders - an air compressor is used to lift the paper sheet to be fed with a burst of air. It then contacts a roller that grabs the sheet using suction and is then sent through the paper folder. These paper folding machines are quite often used in high production situations like a copy shop, in-house reprographics departments or large mailing rooms.
